ROCA PITCHER

These stoneware pitchers were inspired by a habit that we have developed since moving to the farmhouse of filling a large vessel with fresh herbs from the garden or grated ginger and turmeric (or other healthy/invigorating ingredients) and making an infusion with either boiling water or ice water to enjoy casually through the day as we work. The durable material makes them perfect for everyday use.

In the Piedmontese dialect, “RÒCA” means “rock”. This region is know for using stone as a key building material and the old houses benefit from the thermal properties that stone provides in keeping houses cool in the summer and (relatively) warm in the winter.
These pitchers have a similar thermal property—ceramic is wonderful at keeping hot things warm and cold things cool—while the pitcher’s finish evokes the surface of the rocks.




BASALT BATHROOM SET

With a minimalist aesthetic and hidden containers, this set was designed to prevent clutter in small bathroom spaces.
Inspired by the compact natural column formations created by basalt, this set consists of 5 lidded vessels for the discreet storage of daily bathroom necessities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, cotton swabs, makeup and hair accessories as well as a soap dish with an easy-to-clean drain dish.
The vessels are made of slip-cast, grey-tinted porcelain with the tallest vessels containing an interior brass component to lift the articles for easy access. The vessels can be configured to suit the needs and space of the user.

Sizes: vessels are 8.3cm x 7cm and range in height from 5cm to 21cm
